About this role
MAI Animal Health is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Data Analyst to join their team. In this entry-level role, you will support the Senior Business Data Analyst by assisting with reporting, dashboard updates, data accuracy, and business process improvement projects.
What you'll do:
- Assist with gathering and reviewing business data and reporting needs
- Support the creation, maintenance, and updating of reports, spreadsheets, dashboards, and KPI tracking
- Review data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness
- Perform basic data analysis to help identify trends, errors, or areas for improvement
- Support reporting requests from departments across the organization
- Assist with ERP-related reporting, data cleanup, and system projects
- Work with cross-functional teams to help ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Prepare summaries, reports, and basic analysis for internal teams and management
- Communicate findings and updates in a clear and professional manner
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Strong computer skills, including Excel, spreadsheets, email, and related software
- Basic understanding of data analysis, reporting, and business processes
- Ability to organize, review, and interpret data

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Willingness to learn ERP systems, reporting tools, dashboards, and data visualization methods
- Experience with MS Office products, especially Excel
- Working knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or similar business intelligence tools
- Interest in manufacturing, animal health, business operations, or process improvement
