Business Development Analytics & Operations Intern

General Dynamics Mission Systems is hiring a Business Development Analytics & Operations Intern to support Strategy and Business Development professionals. The intern will contribute to strategic growth planning through reporting, proposal development, financial modeling, research, and case studies.

What you'll do:

• The Business Development Analytics & Operations Intern will support a group of Strategy and Business Development professionals performing activities such as, but not limited to: running reports, collaborate on various proposal development projects, financial modeling,  support research and case study efforts
• Support and engage in programs, projects and practices behind the GDMS culture and strategy, and comply with all policies and procedures
• Follow industry and department trends and developments to ensure GDMS services are consistent with, and/or superior to, industry best practices
• Performs analytical and research activities in support of the business development and acquisition, strategic planning, proposal development and marketing functions

• Candidates should demonstrate a thorough understanding of business principles
• Administrative Interns must be enrolled in an accredited degree program
• U.S. citizenship is required
• Exercise creative thinking and ideation to advance our growth efforts
• Familiarity with AI development tools such as Codex/ChatGPT, programming languages such as Python, and Development platforms like Gitlab
• Familiarity with Database structures & operations
• Familiarity with Data Visualization tools & techniques
• A preference in Finance, Business Administration or Mathematics
