Business Insights & Analytics Intern - Animal Nutrition

Land O'Lakes, Inc. is a farmer- and member-owned cooperative that provides food and agricultural products. The Business Insights & Analytics Intern will analyze pricing, sales, market, and profitability data to identify opportunities and support strategic recommendations for the Animal Nutrition business unit. The role also involves cross-functional collaboration, developing insights, and presenting recommendations to business stakeholders.

What you'll do:

• Analyze pricing, sales, market, and profitability data to identify business opportunities and support strategic recommendations
• Partner with Pricing, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to understand how commercial decisions impact business performance
• Learn how market trends, customer needs, competitor activity, and commodity dynamics influence pricing strategies
• Develop data analysis, business storytelling, and decision-making skills through real-world projects
• Create and present insights and recommendations to business stakeholders
• Gain exposure to the agricultural and animal nutrition industries while building a strong understanding of commercial strategy and revenue management
• Collaborate with peers, mentors, and leaders across the organization

What they're looking for:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program with junior standing or higher
• Pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Data Analytics, Business Management, Economics, or related fields
• Demonstrated interest in using data to solve business problems
• Experience working with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, PivotTables, and data analysis
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other data visualization and analytics tools
• Coursework in analytics, statistics, pricing, economics, finance, or market research
• Interest in commercial strategy, pricing, revenue management, or business intelligence
• Understanding of agriculture, animal nutrition, or commodity markets
• Previous internship, leadership, or project experience demonstrating analytical thinking
