Business Intelligence & Data Analytics Intern- OH

MUM Industries Inc. is a company focused on manufacturing and operational excellence, seeking a motivated Business Intelligence & Data Analytics Intern. The role involves hands-on experience with business intelligence tools, data analytics, and reporting solutions to support decision-making across the organization.

What you'll do:

• Help develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports used by leaders across the organization
• Assist with data integration, system implementations, and migration projects
• Create meaningful data visualizations, scorecards, and KPI dashboards that help teams make informed business decisions
• Validate data accuracy and investigate reporting discrepancies to ensure reliable business insights
• Extract, organize, and analyze data from ERP systems, SQL databases, and other business applications
• Build and modify SQL queries to support reporting, analytics, and operational improvements
• Document data sources, report requirements, and business rules to support consistent reporting practices
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within business data to support continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist team members in utilizing reporting and analytics tools effectively
• Help troubleshoot data and reporting issues while learning best practices in business analytics
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and data needs

What they're looking for:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working with data and learning new software applications
• Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and contribute to meaningful projects
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
• Junior or Senior standing preferred
• Interest in data analysis, technology, and business process improvement
