Business Operations Analyst

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP is hiring a Business Operations Analyst to support the department leadership team’s daily business operations, financial management, and strategic vision. The role develops financial analyses and models, supports budgeting and variance reporting, and contributes to special projects.

What you'll do:

• Assisting with inventory management, matter budget development, pricing support and performance analysis
• Developing financial and business analyses using Qlik, MS Access, MS Excel, and/or other financial software
• Creating financial and statistical models and other tools to enhance and streamline reporting processes
• Contributing to the annual budget preparation and subsequent quarterly variance reporting and analysis
• Providing support for special projects and initiatives at the request of department leadership

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related discipline and 1-2 years' professional experience
• Excellent financial and analytical skills
• Strong technical skills including working knowledge of Microsoft products
• Attention to detail with accompanying problem-solving skills
• Excellent financial and analytical skills (including demonstrated proficiency in MS Office; Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication skills, outstanding judgment, a strong service orientation
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and still deliver high quality work product
