Business Operations Analyst

ZURU is an innovation-driven company operating across toys, technology, and consumer packaged goods. ZURU is seeking a graduate-level Business Operations Analyst to perform retailer-level sales, financial, forecasting, inventory, and product performance analysis while presenting insights and supporting cross-functional commercial teams.

What you'll do:

• Provide analytical support for retailer-level sales performance and proactive SKU management
• Build weekly, monthly and seasonal forecasts that drive growth and manage excess inventory
• Maximise POS performance through in-stock management and End of Selling Period inventory transition
• Analyse and summarise item and brand performance, publishing your findings and insights to the wider business
• Prepare ad-hoc reports in response to business needs
• Analyse product assortment and child-level performance to recommend the optimal product mix
• Research, analyse and publish relevant industry and market trends
• Build and maintain Profit and Loss statements - analysing revenue, cost and margin by product, brand, class and category to support informed recommendations
• Collaborate with Inventory/Demand Planners and Buyers to optimise inventory management
• Engage with ZURU's VP of Sales, Commercial, Marketing and Operations teams to keep the business aligned
• Present sales, operations and financial data to the retailer's team during key meetings
• Support Sales in Line Review, JBP, forecasting and Buyer's meeting preparation

What they're looking for:

• A recent graduate (or approaching graduation) in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Statistics, Supply Chain, Mathematics or a related field
• Working knowledge of Excel and SQL, with familiarity across data visualisation, statistical analysis, Python and ETL practices
• Strong commercial curiosity - you enjoy working out the "so what" behind the numbers, not just producing them
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to present findings to senior stakeholders and external customers
• Sharp attention to detail and comfort working with large, imperfect datasets
• A go-getter with energy, creativity and determination to continuously improve and push boundaries
