Business Operations Intern - Spring 2027

International Justice Mission (IJM) is a global organization working to protect vulnerable people from violence. The Business Operations Intern will support project and portfolio management, change management, and business process improvement across global business operations functions, including Finance, HR, Legal, and Technology.

What you'll do:

• Support project and portfolio management, change management, and business process improvement
• Assisting with projects and tasks, such as supporting the preparation and completion of deliverables; scheduling; supporting research on industry best practices; and designing and editing communication materials

What they're looking for:

• Prospective interns need to have completed at least two years of undergraduate study by the start of their internship
• At least one prior professional internship experience **or** significant leadership experience in extracurricular, campus, volunteer, or community-based organizations
• Ability to commit to a schedule consistent with the required time commitment listed above (20, 30, or 40 hours per week during standard business hours)
• Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
• Experience in project management or process implementation
• Mature orthodox Christian faith

• As volunteers, interns and fellows receive a monthly stipend to help defray their expenses related to participating in the internship program.
• This position can be fully in-person or hybrid (onsite Tuesdays & Thursdays) in the Washington, DC area or remote for non-local candidates.
