Business Planning & Analysis Intern

NJM Insurance Group is offering a paid summer internship program with opportunities to network, develop professional skills, and contribute to meaningful departmental projects. The Business Planning and Analysis Intern will support forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting, and analysis of industry data and trends to improve efficiency, identify revenue opportunities, and reduce operational expenses.

What you'll do:

• Assist in monthly forecasting of financial statements
• Generate monthly and quarterly reporting
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets for business leaders
• Create ad hoc reports to support business operations
• Maintain open lines of communication
• Support the business units
• Prepare analysis of industry data and trends

What they're looking for:

• Interest in Property and Casualty Insurance Industry
• Current Sophomore or Junior pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, mathematics or other related degree
• Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities
• High level of intellectual curiosity
• Effective communicator (verbal and written)
• Strong attention to detail
• Desire to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Cumulative GPA of a 3.0 or higher
• Commutable to our West Trenton, New Jersey Office
