About this role
General Atomics Aeronautical Systems develops remotely piloted aircraft, tactical reconnaissance radars, and advanced surveillance systems. The Business Process Analyst supports the Depot Repair Process by analyzing business and technical processes, defining system requirements and business cases, and coordinating process and SAP issue resolution.
What you'll do:
- Responsible for analyzing business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business processing systems utilizing SAP, BI, and Oracle databases
- Define requirements, trends and business cases for technological developments
- Determines system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls
- Develops appropriate electronic and hard copy reports and records
- Creates and updates Depot spreadsheets
- Coordinates with Depot Engineering, Logistics and Administration teams to resolve SAP issues
- Investigative skills with the ability to research across varying scenarios and be able to translate those findings to management both verbally and through documentation
- Create department operational guidelines and procedures
- Maintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information
- Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company
- Expected to maintain a productive and safe working environment in accordance with established operating procedures and practices

What they're looking for:
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a related field. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office systems with special emphasis on the Excel system
- Have experience organizing, planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating work assignments to meet project milestones or established completion dates
- Possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them in an evolving environment while contributing to the development of new processes
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours and travel as required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance is required
- Prefer a general knowledge of production and engineering support principles and concepts and a general understanding of practices, techniques, and standards
