Business Process Analyst- Intern

Encompass Health is hiring a Business Process Analyst Intern to support the Business Services Office in analyzing and improving operational workflows. The intern will contribute to data analysis, reporting, process optimization, automation initiatives, and management insights.

What you'll do:

• Assist in preparing dashboards and reports using business process data
• Analyze patient balances and denials to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Support data analysts in developing predictive models to enhance decision-making
• Participate in special projects focused on automation and process flow optimization

What they're looking for:

• Currently a Junior or Senior pursuing bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Science, or related field
• Familiarity with large data sets and data tables
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time
• Exposure to programming tools such as R or Python preferred
