Business Support Associate

What You'll Do Act as a partner across the Principal Asset Management Equity platform supporting portfolio managers, client portfolio managers, product managers, sales distribution and client service teams with the necessary marketing collateral to grow and retain platform assets under management. Ensure content integration, planning, and mapping across multiple sales channels and marketing platforms. Identify and maintain scalable processes for this support. Build, customize, and maintain collateral material for the Equity investment teams to market our investment products and services to clients and prospects in a timely manner. Update client pitchbooks, inserting relevant data and graphics into custom PowerPoint files, while ensuring materials are accurate and meet business and compliance requirements. Take a leadership role in the design, formatting, and content of presentations. Assist Principal Asset Management distribution and client service teams in meeting client expectations. Monitor prospect and client meetings, confirm attendance, and ensure presenters have prepared materials in a timely manner. Assist in the process of creating standard and ad hoc portfolio commentary in support of client reporting, client inquiries, and due diligence questionnaires. Prepare performance and analytic reports including monthly composite performance on equity strategies and sales and client activity reports that include data on client meetings, wins/losses, clients-at-risk, and pipeline opportunities. Assist with the execution of other front office business support tasks and related projects for the Equity platform. Who You Are A Bachelor's degree or comparable experience, along with prior internship experience in investments, marketing, communications, or other related area, is required. Ability to understand investment-related terms and apply them to marketing materials. Knowledge of the financial services market and products preferred. Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills. Outstanding problem-solving, project management, decision-making, and communication (verbal and written) abilities required. Excellent planning and time management skills with ability to work to deadlines. Skills That Will Help You Stand Out Experience in investments, graphic design, marketing and communication strategies. Proficiency in building collateral with Microsoft PowerPoint. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data in Microsoft Excel. Salary Range Information Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly) $24.21 - $32.43 / hour Time Off Program Personal Time Off (PTO) is provided to hourly (non-exempt) employees and provides a set amount of accrued time earned each pay period. Sr. Business Support Associate Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent, along with more than 2 years of experience in investments, marketing, communications, or a similar area. All other qualifications are the same as above.
