Business System Analyst

Weimer Bearing & Transmission, Inc. is hiring an entry-level Business System Analyst to support business systems and software development. The role focuses on building reports and analytics, maintaining and enhancing the ERP system, and collaborating with stakeholders and IT colleagues to address issues and develop solutions.

What you'll do:

• Work with stakeholders across all business units to scope and build a variety of reports and analytics solutions
• Assist in maintenance, troubleshooting and creating new features for our ERP system
• Contribute to full-stack software development across a range of different applications
• Maintain documentation of development progress, incoming issues, tickets or features
• Collaborate with other business systems and IT helpdesk team members to solve complex issues
• Communicate with business stakeholders to gather feedback, understand current processes and generate new projects for the business systems team

What they're looking for:

• 0-3 years of relevant IT/Software Development experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience
• Knowledge of SQL and software languages (PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Experience working in a team environment on software projects
• Must be able to communicate clearly via telephone and email and display strong listening skills to understand issues and needs
• Strong organizational skills related to logging issues and needs
• C#/Java is not required but is a plus
