About this role
Adaptive Commissioning Solutions is partnering with Northwestern Mutual, a leader in financial services, to find a Campus Recruiter. The Campus Recruiter will be responsible for executing recruitment plans, building relationships on campus, and managing the selection process for candidates.
What you'll do:
- Build and develop effective referral sources: In-office: Current and formers interns, Financial Representatives, staff, and leaders. On campus: COIs, professors, department heads, athletics, career services, and student organizations
- Actively participate in campus clubs and organizations to promote and brand Northwestern Mutual
- Coordinate advertising and marketing strategies on campus including the career services website, online job postings, and advertising to include ads, direct mail, community events, and other campus activities
- Develop relationships with other Northwestern Mutual recruiters to share leads and best practices
- Prepare and maintain recruiting and marketing materials
- Determine, schedule and coordinate on-campus recruiting activities
- Specific selection process accountability to include but not limited to screening candidates, conducting initial interviews, administering selection tools, and guiding candidates through the selection process
- Review resumes and schedule initial interviews
- Communicate effectively about information and language regarding all aspects of the financial representative career and each step of the selection process
- Report weekly campus recruiting activity to the leadership team
- Develop proficiency and use of home office-supported software to maintain candidate databases and accurate records of prospects to ensure efficiency of the selection process
- Assist in the coordination of leadership team meetings and the preparation of activity/results reports

- Critical competencies in this position include interpersonal savvy, priority setting, strong verbal and written communication skills, and drive for results
