Capital Markets Analyst I – Warehouse Finance

The Capital Markets Analyst I will support warehouse lending and structured finance initiatives through operational management, financial analysis, transaction modeling, due diligence, risk management, reporting, and audit oversight.

What you'll do:

• Provides analytical and operational support in managing the bank’s warehouse lending business
• Leads day-to-day warehouse lending operations and reporting responsibilities including preparing advance / paydown requests and reviewing borrowing base and compliance reporting
• Assists in reviewing warehouse lending term sheets and legal documentation, assessing deal risk and return metrics, preparation of deal approval write ups, and presentations to the bank’s Executive Credit Committee
• Develops and executes ongoing controls, mitigation plans, testing, and oversight of the warehouse lending business
• Performs and presents periodic reviews on existing warehouse lending deals
• Identifies and implements new concepts, best practices and approaches related to warehouse lending reporting and operational & credit risk management
• Leads the development of warehouse lending performance reporting and credit risk management oversight
• Assists in overseeing all third-party warehouse lending financial and operational audits
• Assists in structured finance transaction due diligence, financial modeling, risk management and legal documentation
• Works in a collaborative environment to perform detailed financial analysis and assist in building complex transaction models for new and existing warehouse – structured finance transactions
• Supports the Chief Investment Officer and Head of Capital Markets in other assigned tasks
• Other duties as assigned

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
• 0 – 2 years of experience in Warehouse Finance, Debt Capital Markets, Structured Credit, Specialty Lending and or Investment Banking
• Recent college graduates will be considered
• Communication skills (verbal and written)
• Critical thinking skills
• Attention to detail
• Working towards an MBA and or CFA a plus
