Capital Markets Risk & Operations Analyst I

UMB Bank's Institutional Banking division provides services across corporate trust, fund services, custody, investment banking, and other institutional financial markets. The Capital Markets Risk & Operations Analyst I will support business processes and systems for trading and underwriting activities, serving as a liaison between sales teams, clients, system users, and technical services while supporting testing, security setup analysis, and operational functions.

What you'll do:

• You will act as a system liaison between UMB users of business application systems and technical services groups (internal MIS and/or external vendors) responsible for support to ensure systems are operations efficiently
• You will construct test cases, develop test scripts and facilitate appropriate testing (unit, integration, system, QA, UAT) as well as validating production implementation and assist with end-user training
• You will calculate accrual periods and analyze security setups to ensure accurate payment activity within our system of record
• You will learn and cover all areas as demand is needed (cross train in all Capital Markets Operations positions). This may include support of internal and external clients in safekeeping, trading, settlements, and funding operations

• You possess an Associate Degree
• You have one (1) year of business systems analysis experience
• You have at least three (3) years of operational support experience
