About this role

OurCare Health is a mission-driven provider of in-home support services for seniors. The Caregiver Recruiter & Credentialing Specialist will source, screen, hire, credential, onboard, and support the retention of HHA and PCA caregivers while maintaining compliance and staffing pipelines for the company’s offices.

What you'll do:

  • Source and attract qualified HHA and PCA candidates through job boards, social media, community outreach, referral programs, and local partnerships
  • Conduct initial phone screens and in-person interviews to assess candidate qualifications, availability, and cultural fit
  • Maintain a continuous pipeline of active and passive candidates to meet ongoing staffing needs
  • Partner with Regional Executives to align hiring efforts with operational needs and client placement timelines
  • Represent OurCare at job fairs, community events, and career centers to promote the company as an employer of choice
  • Manage the end-to-end credentialing process for all new HHA and PCA hires, including background checks, reference verification, TB testing, and required certifications
  • Ensure all caregiver files are complete, accurate, and compliant with Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) regulations and OurCare's internal standards
  • Track credential expirations and proactively manage renewals to maintain compliance
  • Liaise with training providers to coordinate required pre-employment and ongoing education
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and caregiver database
  • Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation to ensure caregivers are fully prepared and aligned with OurCare's mission and standards of care
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new caregivers during the onboarding period, fostering a positive and welcoming experience

What they're looking for:

  • 2–5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in home care, healthcare staffing, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience managing credentialing, compliance documentation, or onboarding in a regulated industry
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build genuine relationships with candidates and colleagues
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Florida AHCA regulations related to home health aide and PCA employment is a plus
  • Experience recruiting for Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) roles specifically
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a significant plus given the local candidate market
  • Familiarity with scheduling or care coordination software used in home health settings
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or a related field

Benefits:

  • Mission-driven culture that prioritizes human connection and community impact.
  • Collaborative, locally-managed team with strong leadership support.
  • Opportunity to make a direct difference in the quality of care seniors receive.
