About this role
Position Summary:
The Assistant to the Rosh Kollel provides support to the Rosh Kollel by coordinating study partnerships, preparing source materials, answering questions during study sessions, and occasionally covering responsibilities in the Rosh Kollel’s absence. The role requires approximately five hours per week.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist the Rosh Kollel in arranging study partners and source sheets
- Available to answer questions during the partner study hours
- Fill in for Rosh Kollel on occasion
Experience & Educational Background:
- Rabbinic Ordination
- 3+ years teaching in a Jewish academic setting
Skills & Competencies:
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to give a lecture on occasion
- Detail oriented
- Ability to read and write Hebrew
Salary Range:
$38.46 - $38.46 per hour
