About this role
Organic Valley is seeking a motivated and analytical intern to support its Category Planning and Development team. The role provides hands-on experience in pricing strategy, shopper insights, revenue growth management, and data-driven decision-making within the organic consumer packaged goods industry.
What you'll do:
- Help create actionable and executive-level price architecture reporting dashboards
- Benchmark pricing against identified competitive sets
- Analyze actual pricing versus base and promotional price recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine pricing insights
- Support Revenue Growth Management (RGM) activities by conducting market pricing and trade spend reviews within the Trade Promotion Management (TPM) system
- Help develop shopper-centric strategies for select retailers using behavioral and transactional data
- Analyze shopper panel data to support retailer-specific shopper strategies
- Develop assortment and messaging recommendations aligned with shopper behavior
- Ad hoc analysis
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
What they're looking for:
- Currently enrolled in post-secondary education with one year or less from graduation required
- Currently working towards a degree in Business, Marketing, or Management
- Strong communication skills; both verbal and written required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs required
- Ability to prioritize workload and responsibilities effectively
- Ability to work individually and in a team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Interest in organic and working with farmers and cooperative business model preferred
