Essential Position: This position is considered "Essential". The incumbent must report to work regardless of extreme weather of other conditions.
Position Details: Local 1199 Union
Pay Rate: $28.51 per hour
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Schedule: Part-time - 15 hours per week minimum; Various hour/Various Shifts - Flexibility a must, weekends and holidays required. MUST have open availability.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food Handler Certificate (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)
- At least 1 year of food service experience
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to travel between campus locations as needed
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of food service or catering experience
- Knowledge of food service regulations and sanitation standards
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, deliver, and break down catering events
- Ensure food, beverages, supplies, and equipment are organized and presented professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment
- Assist with food preparation and service for catered events and patient meal operations
- Transport food, supplies, and equipment safely throughout campus and hospital locations
- Follow food safety, infection control, and departmental procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
