CC Electrical Engineer Intern

CITGO Petroleum Corporation is a refining industry company operating refineries, terminals, pipelines, and lubricants plants. The Electrical Engineer Intern will assist with electrical project engineering activities, including documentation review, project scoping, site observations, and the development and updating of engineering specifications and reliability plans.

What you'll do:

• Generate discipline-related work scopes and complete project documentation updates / review
• Familiarize with CITGO Engineering practices by editing the engineering training manual and apply as necessary to perform assigned work tasks
• Assist with the update / creation of equipment reliability and integrity plans
• Review existing engineering documentation for completeness and consistency with current policies and procedures, including drawings and technical data. Complete update to documentation as necessary or assigned
• Consult with Senior Project Engineers and Managers in the group, and complete site visits in support of ongoing engineering efforts. Site visits may include witnessing site activities and scoping / verification for projects

What they're looking for:

• High School Diploma
• Must be enrolled in an accredited engineering program with a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior classification
• Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA
