We are currently seeking Full-Time CDL Drivers to join our team in Hillsdale, NY and Lakeville, CT.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Every other Saturday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- Daytime schedule with local deliveries

Position Summary
The CDL Driver safely operates trucks with a capacity of more than three tons to transport building materials and other products to and from customer locations and company facilities. This role provides outstanding customer service while ensuring compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety standards.
Essential Responsibilities
- Deliver materials safely and efficiently to customer locations.
- Pick up materials and prepare receipts and documentation for transported loads.
- Deliver invoices and obtain required delivery documentation.
- Maintain accurate truck logs in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Communicate regularly with supervisors regarding delivery schedules and instructions.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections, including tires, lights, brakes, fluids, and cargo securement equipment.
- Complete and submit daily maintenance reports.
- Secure loads properly using blocks, straps, ropes, and other approved methods.
- Identify potential business opportunities and communicate customer needs to management.
- Assist in resolving customer concerns and service issues professionally.
- Immediately report accidents, near misses, and traffic stops to management.
- Comply with all DOT testing, training, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with yard and warehouse operations when not performing driving duties.
- Participate in required training programs.
- Demonstrate teamwork, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
Required
- Valid CDL Driver's License.
- Ability to comply with all DOT laws and regulations.
- Forklift certification or ability to successfully complete forklift training and demonstrate ongoing competency.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
Preferred
- One year of delivery driving experience.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently communicate with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Operate vehicles, equipment, and machinery safely and effectively.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Perform physical tasks associated with loading, unloading, and material handling.
Work Environment
- Regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
- Exposure to dust, fumes, airborne particles, and vibration.
- Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and electrical hazards.
- Work is performed in a fast-paced environment with moderate to loud noise levels.
