This announcement represents the selection process for an occupied, reclassified state position. Applications will not be considered from any individual not specifically covered by strict eligibility requirements
This position manages the day-to-day operations of the facility at 707 17th Street for the floors that are occupied by CDLE personnel (CDLE lobby and floors 23-27). The position combines operational oversight of Facilities work with hands-on maintenance labor, to provide a safe, clean, and positive atmosphere for employees.
This position liaises between users of the facility, trades people, construction (sub)contractors and vendors, and 707 17th St building property and facility management.
This position oversees the Building Services Request system; prioritizing requests and performing any related work permissible by CDLE staff, building codes, or property management. If required work is beyond in-house capabilities, this position assists with end-to-end execution of the work, from the bidding process through the verification of completion.
This position works with Department Directors/Supervisors and office staff in the process of managing ongoing, interdependent, and related Building Service Requests and projects in a coordinated way to achieve strategic objectives.
This position supports budget planning related to construction/repair expenses, vendor oversight when contracting work with 707 Building Facilities or a subcontractor, and coordination of CDLE-specific projects for physical moves and repairs related to the floors CDLE occupies. The position also collaborates with CDLE leadership and 707 Building property management regarding repairs and project needs.
This position provides support and assistance as needed for CDLE’s Fleet Coordinator which could include facilitating and assisting interactions between the State Fleet Management (SFM), CDLE Fleet users, and supporting the maintenance of the CDLE fleet vehicles.
