CDS Intern - Powerapps Developer - ECM Digital Workflow

## Position Description The Costco Digital Services Division is inviting students currently enrolled in an IT or related undergraduate or graduate program to participate in a 12-week paid internship program during 2027. Interns will work within specific areas in Costco's Information Systems Division and will attend presentations given by members of Executive Management from IT and other areas of the Company. At the end of the internship, the intern will create and present a summary of their experience to management and peers. Interns are responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses. Housing is not provided. The program runs mid-June to early September and is located in Issaquah, WA. No out of state work is allowed. All interns are required to be in the office 5 days a week. ECM Digital Workflow includes the strategies, methods and tools used to digitize paper or manual processes with the goal of improving business processes. The Intern will primarily focus on collaborating on designing and implementing solutions in Microsoft PowerApps. The role works closely with software engineers, system analysts, architects, product owners, business users, and subject matter experts to provide design, technical analysis, development/configuration, testing, implementation, and support. ## Role - Works with stakeholders to identify solutions that support their business requirements. - Works independently and within a team environment. - Pays attention to detail, is self-motivated, follows instructions, and completes assignments on time. - Learns and applies new concepts, processes, and tools. - Takes initiative to solve problems and multi-tasks by prioritizing projects and deadlines. - Communicates effectively with team members, stakeholders, and all levels of management. - Helps design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions and process flows in Power Apps complying with standards, guidelines, and best practices. - Helps develop efficient code in various development languages for enhancements and bug fixes in Power Apps. - Assesses functional and nonfunctional requirements and helps create designs to meet business and technical needs. - Collaborates with the Delivery Team, System Administrators, and Solution Architect to improve production deployments, platform operations, and environment stability when needed. - Supports the authoring and execution of test cases related to the implementation of development work. ## Required - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Good organizational, time, and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and stay well organized. - Maintains a GPA of 3.0 or higher. - Currently enrolled in an IT undergraduate or graduate program at a community college, college, or university. ## Recommended - Experience developing in PowerApps Portals, Canvas, and Model Driven Apps. - Experience developing in Power Automate, PowerBI, and Power Pages. - Experience leading projects using Agile Methodologies. - Costco warehouse, Ecommerce, or retail experience is a plus. - Proficient in Google Workspace applications, including Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Gmail.Required documents: Cover Letter and Resume.
