• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. Certified Medical Assistant requirements: Graduate of Certified Medical Assistant program. Certifications allowed through American Association of Medical Assistants. Registered Medical Assistant requirements:Registry allowed through Association of Medical Technologists, preferred. 
• Experience: Previous work in a medical setting, preferred. 
• Licensure/Certification: Current certification as CMA or RMA, required. 
• Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing.
