Join our 46-bed Medical-Surgical Unit at Kernersville Medical Center, where you’ll work alongside nurses and other members of the care team to provide safe, compassionate care to adult patients with a variety of medical and post-surgical needs. As a CNA, you’ll play an important role in supporting patients with their daily needs, promoting comfort and dignity, and contributing to a positive patient experience.

Facility: Kernersville Medical Center | Location: Kernersville, NC | Position Type: Full-Time | Work Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
What We're Looking For:- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: One year preferred. Assisted Living facilities only: One year experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required
- Licensure/certification/registration: Completion of NAI program required. Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I required. Medication Safety - AME required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units required.
- Additional skills preferred: Basic computer skills for documentation.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, mobility, hygiene, and personal care
- Obtain and document vital signs and other patient information
- Monitor and record intake and output as directed
- Support patient comfort, positioning, and safety
- Observe patients and promptly report changes in condition to the nursing team
- Assist nursing staff with patient-care activities within your scope of practice
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and supportive patient-care environment
- Promote patient dignity, independence, and an exceptional patient experience
