Facility: Community Hospital of Stokes | Location: Danbury, NC | Position Type: PRN | Work Schedule: PRN Schedule, Variable Shifts
What We're Looking For:- Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
- Experience:
- One year preferred.
- One year Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required.
- Licensure/Certification:
- Completion of NAI program, required.
- Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required.
- Medication Safety - AME, required.
- NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
- Additional Skills (preferred): Basic computer skills for documentation.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal care, mobility, and other routine needs
- Provide compassionate care while maintaining resident comfort, privacy, and dignity
- Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition or status to the nursing team
- Document care and assistance provided according to established procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment for residents
- Work under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse
- Collaborate with the care team to support each resident’s individualized plan of care
