The Sauk Prairie School District believes that we should provide opportunities for lifelong learning through Community Education. The Community Education model includes educational, social, wellness, cultural, and recreational opportunities that meet the needs of all school district residents.

Our programs are designed to meet the needs of all age groups.  We strive to provide an affordable and beneficial experience to all our patrons.  We are always interested in input and seeking instructors for our programs.

Schedule:

Afterschool Club Site Supervsior positions at Merrimac Community School (4K - Grade 5) and Grand Ave Elementary (grades 3-5)
Schedule is 4 hour/day (2:00-6:00 p.m.) Monday – Friday, School days only.

Before School Club Site Supervisor for ages 4K - Grade 5. This position works out of Bridges Elementary School in Prairie du Sac.
Schedule is 1.5 hour/day (6:15-7:45 a.m.) Monday – Friday, School days only.

Salary/Wage Range:

Hourly $19.00 to $19.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Sauk Prairie Schools Community Education is hiring three positions for our school aged childcare program ... 2 After School Care Site Supervisors (20 hours / week) and one Before School Care Site Supervisor (7.5 hours / week). These are Monday-Friday positions that follow the Sauk Prairie School District calendar. School year only positions with the possibility for summer employment if interested. Children in our programs range in age from 4K - Grade 5. Pay rate for these position is $19/hour. Positions report to our Childcare Coordinator. Apply via WECAN or Indeed.

Qualifications:

1. Experience working with elementary-age students and supervising others 
2. General understanding of youth development and proper disciplinary actions.
3. CPR Certification or willingness to obtain certification (at no cost to the employee)
4. Ability to relate positively with people
5. Strong leadership skills and initiative
6. Basic computer skills

Physical Demands

Able to be on feet for long periods of time. Ability to lift 50 pounds.
