About this role

TIAA is a financial services organization focused on helping clients achieve secure financial futures. The Responsible Investing intern will support ESG data analytics, evaluate ESG KPIs across portfolio companies, maintain the ESG database, document risks and opportunities, and assist with investor and client service requests.

What you'll do:

  • ESG data analytics
  • Evaluating the ESG key performance indicators (KPIs) across new and existing portfolio companies
  • Assisting the RI team in the creation and upkeep of our ESG database, streamlining data collection and reporting
  • Attending investment committee meetings across both the Senior Lending and Private Equity and Junior Capital businesses to document key ESG risks and opportunities
  • Providing support for Churchill’s Investor Solutions Group & Client Services team on RI DDQ’s, and RFP’s

  • Innovative and creative thinker; ability to make connections among previously unrelated notions, ability to project how potential ideas may play out
  • High School Preferred
  • No Experience Required
  • Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work
  • Preferred candidate will be a rising Junior or Senior (Class of 2028 or 2029) expected to graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Climate and Sustainability Management, Economics, Environmental Management or other financial sustainability focused curriculum
  • Familiarity with private credit markets, investment strategies, and asset classes is a plus
