DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This role supports fee reconciliation and discrepancy resolution for EV and PHEV registrations to ensure accurate records and payments. As a Clerical Assistant 3, you will perform the following duties:
- Report Review: Review EV and PHEV registration reports to identify issues or discrepancies
- Record Management: Place or remove administrative stops on vehicle records to address payment concerns
- Clerical Support: Assist and guide clerical staff with daily RUC Unit tasks
- Quality Checks: Perform quality control reviews of clerical staff work
- Customer Assistance: Provide support to customers who have questions or registration and payment discrepancies
- Issue Resolution: Research discrepancies involving registrants, plate transfers, and RUC payments

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (commonwealth title); or
- One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
This position is subject to the provisions of a collective bargaining agreement or memorandum of understanding. If no applicable union-covered bidders apply, other applicants may be considered.
