Job Summary:

Performs basic administrative duties under general supervision. Performs daily office tasks such as filing, recording, maintaining records, copying and posting. Performs information gathering, verification and charging.

Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:

  • High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
  • Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred

Facility Specific License/Certifications:

  • Driver's License (DL): Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required

Essential Functions:

  • Answers and screens phone calls. Assists guests and directs them appropriately. Receives and schedules visitors.
  • Types letters, memos, standard forms and reports. Opens and distributes departmental mail. Sets up and manages filing and record systems.
  • Makes and confirms appointments as directed. Inputs data to various systems or documents.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
