Client Accounting Services Intern - Nov 2027 - May 2028

EHTC is a full-service CPA firm providing accounting, tax, and business advisory services to individuals and closely held businesses. The Client Accounting Services Intern will support the Accounting Services practice by processing client transactions, preparing reconciliations and financial reports, assisting with automation tools, and contributing to special projects.

What you'll do:

• Process client transactions by preparing journal entries to the general ledger accounts in QuickBooks Online or other applicable applications
• Prepare account reconciliations for significant financial statement areas
• Assist clients in efficient use of automation tools for financial reporting
• Prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize client results
• Assist in other client special projects

What they're looking for:

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program in Accounting, or other relevant field, from an accredited university required
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to problem solve
• Teamwork oriented with a willingness to grow, a passion for living, and desire to go above and beyond
• Microsoft Office Suite experience
• Knowledge of Accounting Software (like QuickBook) a plus
