- Schedule: Full Time, Days 8:00 am-5:00 pm
- Department: Novant Health Urology Clinic - Baldwin
- Location: Winston- Salem, North Carolina
About Our Urology Clinic:
We specialize in diagnosing and treating urinary tract disorders, kidney stones, prostate health, bladder issues, and men’s and women’s pelvic health. Join us in providing advanced, patient-centered care that improves quality of life.
- Education: High School or GED, required.
- Experience: 2 years acute experience for CNA 1, preferred. One year CNA2 or EMT, preferred. One year experience in healthcare setting or PA or Med student enrolled in an accredited program, individual in a gap year between undergraduate and completion and advanced clinical training, or candidate with a completed undergrad degree in medical, biological, health science, or related science field, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: (required)
- NA I in good standing within the NA registry; OR, required.
- NA II in good standing with NA II certification with required state; OR, required.
- EMT current credential in appropriate state; OR, required.
- One year clinical (medical) office experience; OR, required.
- Physician Assistant or Medical School student enrolled in accredited program or in gap year, required.
- Additional Skills/Requirements (required):
- Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing.
- Basic computer skills for documentation

What You'll Do:- Assist in the coordination and delivery of patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians
- Supporting rooming, vital signes and patient preparation
- Maintaining a safe and clean care environment
While CNA I and CNA II professionals can work under the license of a physician or advanced practice provider (APP), per North Carolina Board of Nursing requirements, they must:
Complete a minimum of 8 hours every 24 months of direct supervision by a registered nurse (RN) employed at the clinic
Or make arrangements to complete this requirement at a sister Novant Health Medical Group (NHMG) clinic location
