Cloud Infrastructure Security 1

Bloomberg Industry Group, Inc. is hiring a Cloud Infrastructure Security Engineer I to help secure its cloud environments and on-premise infrastructure. The role supports implementation of security controls, access management, vulnerability assessments, container security, and auditing cloud networking and storage configurations.

What you'll do:

• Assist in securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premise systems, ensuring compliance with security policies
• Help with configuring and managing Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems to control and monitor access to cloud resources
• Participate in vulnerability management efforts, including scanning cloud and on-prem environments and tracking remediation efforts
• Support container security efforts by helping to implement security controls within containerized environments (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)
• Assist in auditing and securing cloud networking and storage configurations
• Stay up to date on emerging cloud and infrastructure security threats and tools

What they're looking for:

• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure security concepts
• Familiarity with IAM, vulnerability scanning tools, and basic container security practices
• Some experience with cloud-based and on-premise systems management
• An Associates degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 0-3 years of experience in cloud or infrastructure security, or equivalent skills and expertise
