Join our compassionate and dedicated team at Lakeview Pediatrics as a Certified Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse! In this rewarding role, you'll provide exceptional care to infants, children, and adolescents while supporting our providers in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. From assisting with exams and treatments to administering immunizations, educating families, and helping create a positive experience for every patient, you'll play an important role in keeping our youngest patients healthy and thriving.

• Assist physicians during patient exams and procedures
• Room patients, record patient histories, vital signs, and document in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments per scope of licensure
• Educate patients on health, medications, and follow-up care
• Coordinate referrals and patient care follow-ups
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment

• Valid and current licensure/certification in one of the following:
• Registered Nurse (RN) – Active/Unencumbered RN license in state of practice or compact license including state of practice.
• OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Active/Unencumbered LPN license in state of practice or compact license including state of practice.

• OR Graduate of an accredited program for Medical Assistants (Certificate, diploma, or Associate’s Degree) required.
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant through one of the following required:

• National Healthcare Association
• American Association of Medical Assistants
• National Center for Competency Testing
• National Certified Medical Assistant
• National Association of Health Professionals
• American Registry of Medical Assistants
• American Allied Health
• American Medical Technologists
• Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC is a plus!
• For positions within UnityPoint Clinic, team members may be required to work at or to float to other locations to support optimized staffing
