CNA Finance/Accounting Internship Program

The Finance/Accounting Internship Program supports business activities through projects, documentation, reporting, internal and external communication, and participation in insurance-related meetings and workshops.

What you'll do:

• Performs a combination of duties in accordance with departmental guidelines:
• Participates and assists in internship-related or other projects
• Assists management in various activities relevant to internship and which support the business
• May participate in drafting and development of documents and/or reports
• Interfaces with internal and external contacts as appropriate
• Participates in meetings and developmental workshops as related to the insurance industry

• 1. Developing knowledge and understanding of the industry, organization and specific business area
• 2. Good verbal and written communication skills
• 3. Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems, to learn quickly and to embrace change
• 4. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, and the ability to cultivate and maintain positive business relationships
• 5. Developing decision-making skills
• 6. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite as well as other business-related software
• 1. Typically has completed at least three years of college with required minimum GPA of 3.0. and study in insurance, accounting, actuarial science, IT or other relevant field
• 2. Some previous work experience is preferred
