Commercial Financial Analyst - Intern Job Details | Farm Credit Services of America

Farm Credit Services of America is a financial cooperative providing credit, crop insurance, and financial services to farmers, ranchers, and agribusinesses. The Commercial Financial Analyst Intern will learn to analyze and monitor customer financial information, support underwriting and loan reporting, follow up on missing information, and communicate financial trends.

What you'll do:

• Understand how to analyze financial information out of appropriate systems to initiate the underwriting and decisioning
• Assist in monitoring direct, bought and sold loans within the Corporate and Commerical teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Master the art of following through – reaching out to customers and lead-lenders upon identification of non-receipt of financial information
• Discover how to comprehend potential financial trends and how to communicate your findings accordingly

What they're looking for:

• Currently pursuing a bachelors or master's degree in Accounting, Agricultural Economics, Business, or Finance
• Minimum of 3.0 GPA
• Demonstrated leadership abilities
• Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong desire to pursue a career involving adult education, program management, sales, marketing and territory management
• Available for a 12-week internship during the summer
