Maintenance throughout the CBS facility.

This posting will be used for ongoing recruitment and may close at any time. Applicant lists may be screened more than once.

Why does the job exist?

 
This position is to provide work such as painting, tile work, cutting mowing grass, plumbing, carpentry, cleaning trash and helping around the facility.

How does it get done?

 
The job gets done by performing tasks such as:
Removing snow from grounds, salt ice for safety purposes during winter months. Building shelves repair and maintain furniture in employee offices. Painting, patching, repairing and cleaning interior/exterior walls throughout the facility.

Who are the customers?

 
The job is done for the PSR clients, clients in therapy and for all the employees in the facility

Ideal Candidate

 
Experience in using tools such as weed eaters, 360 mowers, chainsaws. Have some knowledge in plumbing, welding, carpentry.

Minimum Qualification

 
High School Diploma or Equivalent and six (6) months of experience in general building and grounds maintenance, custodial duties, construction, or appliance repair. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling six (6) months may substitute for the required experience.

Employment Requirements

 
Must possess and maintain a valid NM Drivers License.

Must obtain a Defensive Driving Certificate.

Working Conditions

 
Working around the CBS facility. Working with some chemicals such as lacquers. thinners, paint, tile glue etc.
