Hotel Equities, multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable Complex Hotel Manager for the Oasis Hotel Waikiki + Royal Grove Waikiki in Honolulu, HI.
The Complex Hotel Manager serves as the senior on-site leader responsible for the overall operation of assigned hotels. This position provides strategic and operational leadership to ensure exceptional guest experiences, financial performance, associate engagement, and compliance with company and brand standards. The Complex Hotel Manager oversees all hotel departments, develops and coaches leaders, and works collaboratively with regional leadership and corporate support teams to achieve operational and financial objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee the day-to-day operations of all hotels departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Guest Services.
- Ensure the hotels consistently delivers exceptional guest experience and meets company and brand standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and implement action plans to improve service quality.
- Conduct routine inspections to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, maintenance, and presentation.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns and operational challenges.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop department leaders and associates.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, engagement, and exceptional hospitality.
- Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and develop associates in partnership with Human Resources.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and address performance concerns.
- Support succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
- Develop and manage the annual operating budgets.
- Monitor labor costs, payroll, scheduling, departmental expenses, and productivity.
- Review financial reports and implement strategies to improve profitability.
- Achieve established revenue, expense, and operational goals.
- Partner with Revenue Management and Sales to maximize occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and overall profitability.
- Support revenue-generating initiatives while maintaining exceptional guest service.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Promote workplace safety and maintain a safe environment for guests and associates.
- Support Human Resources with associate relations, leave administration, workplace accommodations, investigations, and Workers' Compensation matters.
- Ensure emergency preparedness procedures are maintained and followed.
- Serve as Manager on Duty when needed.
- Participate in community and company initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Ability to consistently perform duties in accordance with established company policies and procedures, safety standards, and all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Demonstrated commitment to promoting and supporting Hotel Equities' culture, values, mission, and service standards.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, hotel property management systems (PMS), and other hospitality technology platforms.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as business needs require.
Physical:
- Frequently move throughout the hotel, office, and surrounding property, including walking, standing, climbing stairs, bending, reaching, and navigating various work areas.
- Remain standing and walking for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Frequently use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, telephone, copier, printer, and other standard office equipment.
- Maintain manual dexterity sufficient to prepare documents, operate office equipment, and perform administrative tasks.
- Occasionally lift, carry, push, pull, or move supplies, equipment, furniture, guest luggage, and other work-related items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance and heavier items with appropriate assistance or equipment.
- Occasionally assist guests with luggage or other heavy items as needed to support hotel operations and deliver exceptional guest service.
- Handle, move, and manipulate objects, materials, and equipment using appropriate tools and safe lifting techniques.
- Possess visual acuity sufficient to read documents, computer screens, financial reports, and operational information.
- Possess the ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and through electronic communication
