Traveling Role (Based out of Lincoln, NE)

CL Construction is seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to assist with daily field operations and crew leadership on concrete construction projects.

About the Role

As a Concrete Foreman, you’ll lead and work alongside field crews while supporting the Superintendent with daily project operations. You’ll help coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials while ensuring concrete work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards. This is a working leadership role requiring strong communication, organization, and hands-on concrete experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise concrete crews on daily jobsite activities
• Support the Superintendent with scheduling, manpower coordination, and project execution
• Coordinate concrete work including layout, forming, placing, and finishing
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
• Help ensure projects stay on schedule and meet quality expectations
• Conduct daily stretch-and-flex/safety huddles with crews
• Monitor crew productivity and maintain a clean, organized jobsite
• Communicate effectively with Superintendents, Project Managers, subcontractors, and customers
• Assist with layout, grades, and elevations as needed
• Enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards
• Train and mentor crew members while promoting teamwork and accountability

Qualifications

• 3+ years of concrete construction experience preferred
• Previous leadership or foreman experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of flatwork, walls, and foundations
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
• Experience with layout tools and grade checking preferred
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of OSHA safety standards
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
