The group you’ll be a part of

 

The Global Customer Operations Group brings industry insights and experience to help our customers deliver on their technology roadmaps. We work tirelessly to earn the trust of our customers, because we know that working closely together leads to the highest quality outcomes. 

 

The impact you’ll make

  • Supports the sales team with tool configuration and spec alignment
  • Develops, submits, and aligns NSR’s (Non-Standard Requests) with each product group
  • Plans and implements projects that support the sales organization. 
  • Assists sales organization in providing technical and administrative product information. 
  • Works with Sales Operations, Business Development and Account Managers to update CRM and equipment manufacturing slots
  • Coordinates with Sales Representatives to provide sales documentation and satisfy customer requirements.
  • Learn all aspects of Lam equipment and upgrades for the product group that you support

What you’ll do

Configuration management

  • Coordinate centralized customer communications for parts changes, safety alerts, and technical memos through customer change management systems.
  • Facilitate ACM quote management by evaluating PCN, POA, CIP, and ECN changes and routing required workflows.
  • Review BOMs and complete delta analysis with CSBG and PG teams to identify required changes for reuse and upgrade opportunities.

 

Technical support and planning

  • Partner with field teams to optimize installed base performance and extend tool lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with CSBG to deliver solutions that create value for both the customer and Lam.

 

NSR creation and management

    • Create and manage NSRs for unreleased products and options.
    • Support NSRs for non-configurable upgrades.

Who we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent engineering experience
  • Customer facing experience relating to technical introduction and/or review
  • In-depth product knowledge on at least one of Lam equipment groups (Etch, Dep, Wets)
  • Familiar with CRM, SAP, and ACM
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred qualifications

  • NSR (non standard request) creation
  • Presentation experience with groups and customers
  • Preferred 7 years of Field/PG/CSBG/Semiconductor experience

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
