About this role
Burlington Stores, Inc. is an off-price retailer offering an internship program in Property Development. The Construction Operations Analyst Intern will support vendor relationship management, financial and operational analysis, reporting, presentations, process improvement, and cross-functional projects.
What you'll do:
- Assist with managing vendor relationships, hosting QBRs, and financial analysis to support strategic decision making
- Support management with quarterly, monthly, and/or weekly reporting
- Maintain and organize vendor information
- Help prepare presentations and dashboards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on ad hoc projects
- Identify process improvement opportunities
- Teamwork drives success—collaboration across various functional areas within our department is essential. You will engage with multiple teams to gather input, share ideas, and effectively carry out your assignments
What they're looking for:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Business, Supply Chain, Construction Management, Accounting, or a related field
- Expected to complete a Bachelor's degree between December 2027 and May 2028
- Interest in analytics, procurement, process improvement, and business operations
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and work with financial and operational data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to use data and information to support problem solving, decision making, and business objectives
- Ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships across teams and functions
- Demonstrated interest in learning new concepts, adapting to changing priorities, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts
- Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and written, verbal, and active listening skills
- Ability to take initiative, manage responsibilities independently, and work effectively both individually and as part of a team
- With our office located in New Jersey, reliable transportation is required as Burlington is not easily accessible by public transportation
