Consumer Group, Investment Banking – Summer Analyst – 2028 Grads

D.A. Davidson Companies is a full-service investment banking firm providing financial solutions, research, and capital markets expertise to individual and institutional investors, companies, and government entities. The Summer Analyst will support investment banking deal teams through research, financial analysis, client relations, business development, database management, and other advisory-related activities.

What you'll do:

• Research and provide presentation / research material for pitch books, memorandums, presentations and other projects
• Develop financial modules to analyze a wide variety of client-specific projects
• Collaborate with an industry team from peer analysts to managing directors
• Work on various projects to support client relations
• Support business development activities of senior investment bankers
• Monitor and update contact/deal database as needed for specific deal teams
• Assist deal teams with other necessary day to day responsibilities

What they're looking for:

• All Majors with a minimum 3.5 GPA
• Junior in college
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Self-motivated, with a strong desire to excel in a challenging field
• Working knowledge of business software (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• General level of financial knowledge and interest (financial modeling, macroeconomics, current events, etc.)
• Good judgment in confidential situations and ability to exercise discretion when handling confidential information
• Teamwork skills and strong work ethic
• Flexibility to work long hours, nights, and weekends, as needed for workflow
• Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business majors with a minimum 3.5 GPA
• Junior in college
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
