What You'll Do - You'll Make the Moment

  • Works with marketing leads/senior management to concept, write, and help produce marketing materials that promote the brand, and drive sales.
  • Represents brand at relevant photo shoots and makes client creative decisions on set (may require travel).
  • Continuously seeks, recommends, helps plan and implement creative changes that improve marketing efficiencies for the organization.
  • Provides creative writing suggestions to colleagues, outside agencies, vendors or designers to bring creative assets up to brand and quality standards Provides guidance and recommendations on creative solutions to help ensure proposed creative will meet business objectives.
  • Reviews all copy internally produced that's guest-facing for adherence to current brand guidelines and quality standards.
  • Periodically reviews external agency copy and photography to ensure CB Retail objectives, creative POV, creative guidelines and quality standards are met.
  • Works closely with the Director of Creative on ongoing creative projects from concept stage through production of asset.
  • Provides creative guidance for projects necessary to the running of the business and its goals.
  • Works with designers, photographers and other resources to plan, design and produce marketing elements.
  • Works with internal clients to successfully deliver guest-facing creative requests that meet strategic business objectives, brand guidelines and quality standards. Assists in the planning and writing of other approved employee-facing creative requests, on an as-needed basis.
  • Small amount of travel in order to stay relevant on business topics for the betterment of the enterprise (i.e. seminars, conferences, meetings).

Qualifications

  • 3–6+ years of experience in copywriting, content development, or brand storytelling (agency or in-house experience preferred)
  • Proven experience writing marketing copy across multiple channels and formats
  • Experience within restaurant, hospitality, retail, food, or lifestyle brands strongly preferred
  • Exceptional proofreading, editing, and quality assurance skills with a high attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of brand voice, tone, and messaging consistency
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly, and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience working within workflow/project management systems such as Workfront preferred
