Corporate Accounting Intern

Cleveland-Cliffs is a vertically integrated steel company seeking a Corporate Accounting Intern for its corporate financial reporting team. The intern will assist with SEC Form 10-Q filings, benefit plan financial statements, accounting analyses, audits, journal entries, reconciliations, and ad hoc projects.

What you'll do:

• Assist in drafting financial statements and related disclosures, including footnotes, for inclusion in the Company's SEC Form 10-Q filing
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules for multiple 401K and pension plans
• Collaborate on the assessment of new GAAP and SEC guidelines
• Assist with audit requests from internal and external auditors
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
• Participate in other ad hoc projects, as requested

What they're looking for:

• Enrollment in a bachelor's program in Accounting or Finance
• Must have completed at least freshman year of study by the summer of 2027
• Applicants for this position must be currently legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
