We are seeking a COTA to join our team of passionate patient caregivers!

 

Lafayette Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana is a state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation hospital providing compassionate care to patients in Greater Lafayette and surrounding communities. We specialize in intensive rehabilitation for people overcoming strokes, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, multiple trauma, and complex orthopedic conditions. Our interdisciplinary rehab team – including therapists, nurses, and rehabilitation physicians – tailors comprehensive therapy programs for each patient, helping them relearn skills and gain strength through physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and innovative rehabilitation techniques. Required Skills:

  • Current licensure as a COTA required per state guidelines.
  • Current BLS card required.
  • One year of direct patient care experience in rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.

  • Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
  • Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
  • Ability to move quickly from one task to another and to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to use appropriate equipment necessary for the job

 

Under the direction of an occupational therapist, provides rehabilitative services to individuals with physical impairments. Monitors the patient's program and records patient's progress for the occupational therapist.  Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
