Credit and Accounts Receivable Intern

Butler Machinery is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Credit and Accounts Receivable Intern to join their dynamic team. This internship offers hands-on experience in credit management, collections, accounts receivable, and financial operations, where the intern will support day-to-day activities while developing valuable skills in financial analysis and customer relations.

What you'll do:

• Support the maintenance and monitoring of accounts receivable records, including invoice tracking and payment posting
• Collaborate with the accounting and sales teams to ensure accurate record-keeping and timely invoicing
• Prepare reports on aging accounts receivable and recommend actions to mitigate risks
• Allocation and reconciliation of customer payments
• Perform general administrative tasks to support the credit and AR department
• Works within and promotes vision, mission, and values of BMC
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Position would require a minimum of 15 to 20 hours per week
• Candidates who are working towards a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Agricultural Business or other related major in college preferred
