Credit Research MBA/Graduate Internship – Investment Grade & High Yield - Summer 2027

Thrivent is a membership-owned fraternal and holistic financial services organization providing financial advice, investments, insurance, banking, and generosity programs. The Fixed Income Research Intern will support research and analysis across public investment grade and high yield markets, including bond analysis, credit-risk monitoring, industry research, and participation in the investment process.

What you'll do:

• Provide research support for analyzing and underwriting bond investments
• Monitoring credit risk and performance of existing investment holdings
• Perform independent research on industries and sectors within fixed income market
• Participate and contribute to all aspects of the investment process including meetings with issuers and management

What they're looking for:

• Completed first year of graduate program with a demonstrated history of strong academic performance
• Working knowledge of accounting, finance, corporate strategy, real estate and financial statistics
• Strong communication, problem-solving, decision-making and mathematical skills
• Ability to take work direction from various leaders as well as work independently
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Excel
• Ability to work full time during the summer (May-August)
• Experience with investment tools such as Aladdin and/or Bloomberg is a plus
