The Crumb Blender plays an important role in the Depositing process by helping prepare cake pans and ensuring crumbs, batters, and add in ingredients are deposited accurately according to recipe and baking specifications. This position supports consistent product quality by following standard procedures and working closely with the Depositing team to build the foundation for each cake.

• Pre-weigh and prepare raw baking ingredients (margarine, butter, sugar, cinnamon, salt, graham crumb, vanilla crumb, chocolate crumb, etc.).
• Combine dry ingredients in industrial-sized crumb blenders.
• Ensure product ingredients are mixed according to recipe specifications.
• Ensure product quality meets standards throughout the baking process.
• Communicate with leads and supervisors regarding the quantity of crumb that needs to be produced.
• Ensure lines run continuously without interruption.
• Contribute to pulling materials for the lines as needed.
• Ensure products are properly wrapped or bagged and correct any machinery setting issues.
• Seal products with proper labeling for warehouse storage and shipping.
• Comply with company-wide Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Meet all federal and state regulatory requirements and adhere to the SQF program.

• Must have at least 6 months of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to work up to 40 hours per week.
• Understanding of production procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices
• Demonstrated ability to meet all federal and state regulatory requirements and adhere to an SQF program
• Manufacturing or Food Handling industry knowledge
• Industrial Technical or Machinery experience
• Basic hand tool and computer user interface knowledge
• Food and Safety knowledge
• Comfortable standing for 8–9 hours during a shift.
• Squatting, and pushing/pulling up to 30% of shift
• Twisting, grasping, reaching, turning, stooping, and lifting up to 80% of shift
• Able to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• A strong focus on safety at all times.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime, including some Saturdays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to read, understand, communicate and follow instructions in English.
• Comfortable working in a range of temperatures, from warm to cool to cold.
• A positive attitude and a smile to bring to work each day
• High School diploma or GED
