CSG Hardware Engineering Intern

Dell Technologies is a technology company that develops hardware products and solutions. The Hardware Engineering Intern will support the Client Solutions Group Engineering team by incubating new products and technologies, developing technical specifications and proofs of concept, and performing simulations, analyses, designs, and physical testing for computer hardware.

What you'll do:

• Incubate new products, technologies, or features that enable product innovation
• Develop POC and technical specifications for new products, features, and capabilities
• Preform simulation, analytical analysis, design, and physical testing for computer hardware
• Responsible for interfacing with multi-discipline teams; intellectually flexible and able to quickly understand and build upon new technology
• Development of detailed, yet clear and concise summary reports of investigations and activities

What they're looking for:

• Currently enrolled in a computer, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Technology or Computer Science undergraduate related degree with a graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028
• Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience with MS Office and other software productivity tools:  Word Processer, Spreadsheet, Presentation, Scheduling, etc
• Hardware Component and Systems Design and development experience
• Ability to create and analyze architectural and product specifications
• Knowledge of high-volume manufacturing technologies and processes
• Fundamentals of statistical analysis
• Proficiency in any of the design software: Creo, Fusion, ANSYS, and/or Flotherm XT/Flotherm computational fluid dynamics simulation software, Allegro, and OrCAD)
