The Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of university facilities. This position performs routine custodial duties, including cleaning and sanitizing buildings, caring for floors and common areas, removing trash and recyclables, maintaining exterior entryways, reporting maintenance issues, and supporting campus operations through assigned training, meetings, and related duties.

• Clean and maintain university facilities, including academic, administrative, residential, and recreational spaces.
• Perform restroom sanitation, trash and recycling removal, dusting, window washing, and cleaning of building fixtures and surfaces.
• Provide routine floor care, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, buffing, stripping, and carpet cleaning.
• Maintain interior common areas and exterior entryways.
• Attend required training and departmental meetings.
• Operate university vehicles as needed for assigned work.
• Report facility or equipment issues to the supervisor.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent

Required Experience
0-6 months experience

• Valid Driver's License

This position is a pay grade 3. The available salary range is $23,290 to $28,578 . Starting salary within this range is based on relevant years of experience.
